A bumper Wednesday is coming with Show and Tell and our new Doodle Club

Wednesday: Show & Tell

When: 12:30pm — 1:30pm on Wednesday 14th June
Where: The Mess (kitchen)

On Wednesday we’re having our monthly Show & Tell thanks to Caroline Beavon and Tom Parslow.

Show and Tell. 5 minute talks + Q&A. Any member can talk … or just come along to watch. Work projects, side hustles, introductions, requests for help or collaboration. Wednesday 14 June 12:30pm in the Mess

Have something you’d like to show? Please do! Nervous? Try not to be, we’re a very friendly crowd and will look after you!

You volunteer your talk at the start. Talks are only a few minutes long, so you don’t need to do lots of prep. Write ups of some previous Show & Tells: April, May, and the July ’18 productivity special.

New event: Doodle Club

When: 6:30pm on Wednesday 14th June
Where: The Mess (fittingly)
Hosts: Jo Harrison and Caroline Beavon

Doodle club. A monthly night of guided sketchbook doodling and arty fun. You’ll get a free sketchbook to get you started. Wednesday 14th June the Skiff Mess — 6:30pm

Caroline says: Who’s up for our first ever Doodle Club hosted by Jo

Guided doodling / art / creative session for any Skiffmate — no art talent required!

Just come along and find out the lovely benefits of doodling including mental health, relaxation and creativity!

Plus — you get a free sketchbook to get you started.

Let us know if you’re thinking of coming so we can make sure we have enough sketchbooks ;-)
